Lyon State Fishing Lake and Melvern Reservoir Field Trip

Lyon SFL has been a traditional location for Smith’s Longspurs for many years and we will attempt to find some of them.  After birding the lake, we will go to Melvern Reservoir in search of waterfowl, loons, gulls, raptors, sparrows and more.  This will be a round trip of about 250 miles.  Meet at the Dillon’s at Woodlawn and 37th St N  and we will carpool from there.  If you own an FRS radio, please bring it. Bring a  lunch.
