Sandhills State Park & Dillon Nature Center field trip

We will meet at Sandhills State Park to look for an assortment of wintering sparrows and raptors (state park vehicle permit required). Expect a mile or two of walking on easy dirt trails. We will then head to the Dillon Nature Center to search the woods and watch the feeders for winter woodland birds and finches.  After a break for lunch, there is the option of heading south to scope Cheney Reservoir for ducks, gulls and other late autumn goodies.
