Program Meeting – “Conservation in Your Backyard: How to Help Protect the Kansas State Reptile,” by Schaneé Anderson

January 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The Kansas Box Turtle Project at the Sedgwick County Zoo aims to engage the community in learning about our native box turtles through state wide surveys. Schanee will tell us about this citizen science project and how you can participate.

Schaneé Anderson is the Curator of Education and Farms at the Sedgwick County Zoo.

We plan to have this program live at the Great Plains Nature Center. For those who don’t feel comfortable with an in-person meeting, it will also be live-streamed on Facebook  and a recording will be available after the meeting on Facebook and on YouTube.
