Kingman State Fishing Lake Field Trip
October 19 @ 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
FreeMeet at 7 am at the Dillon’s at W Maple and 135th if you’d like to carpool or follow us out. Or meet us at 8 am at Kingman SFL at the south end of the lake by the dam. Expect about a mile of walking on dirt/gravel roads. We will walk and drive the area searching for late migrants and newly arrived sparrows, raptors, and ducks. Afterwards, those interested can stop by Cheney Reservoir to scope the lake for shorebirds and gulls. Franklin’s gulls at Cheney often number over 10,000 during mid-October.
