Intro to “Herping”: Educational Program and Field Day at Chaplin Nature Center

June 15 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Herpetology, or the study of reptiles and amphibians, is a fascinating field of science! Just like “birders” go find birds, “herpers” go out looking for reptiles and amphibians – and that’s just what we will be doing for this program! Following an indoor presentation on the reptiles and amphibians of Kansas, we will be exploring the property in search of the reptiles and amphibians that call CNC home! This program is great for all ages and no experience or equipment is required.

Exact times and dates may be subject to change, so please call ahead to verify or or check our facebook page for the most recent updates. For more information, please call the Center at (620) 442-4133.
